Finding the right employee.

Contact Heaven’s Hands Community Services to discuss your hiring needs with our Employment Specialist. We work with you to analyze the skills needed for the job you have. We then find the right individual for the job and provide a job coach to make onboarding easy.

Better public relations.

Hiring from a diverse pool of applicants shows your customers that your business is an integral part of the community and that you are socially responsible. Studies show that consumers value social responsibility and repay it with repeat sales.

Don’t believe the myths. Get the facts.

Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities can meet your workforce needs. Hiring our job candidates can be good for your bottom line, create good will with your neighbors, and increase customer loyalty.

Employees with intellectual and developmental disabilities are less reliable than other employees.

Employees with intellectual and developmental disabilities have equal or higher performance ratings, higher retention rates, and lower absenteeism.

I’ll have to lower my standards when I hire people with disabilities.

Employees with intellectual and developmental disabilities should be treated the same as any other employee. In the workplace, they are held to the same standards of performance.

I won’t be able to find the right person.

The candidates we recommend will meet the qualifications for the job you have open. Each candidate is trained by a job coach so your training time is reduced.
